SDR Network
An eight-position selector to listen through web receivers around the world. The display shows antenna, listeners and the receiver's audio.
The knob walks a short list: first the receivers you starred, then the nearest ones of the network in use. The amber display reads the receiver it points at: name and place, antenna, coverage, listeners, distance, signal to noise and audio. CONNECT puts the panel on that receiver.
The module follows the radio: when you change receiver from the panel, from the Stations window, or because the one in use dropped and Etere.AI moved to the next, the selector comes back to the receiver you are listening to. FAVOURITE adds or removes the star, NEXT FREE jumps to the first one with free places.
The controls
Every key and knob on the front, and what it does.
- SELECTOR
- Eight positions: starred receivers first, then the nearest of the network in use.
- CONNECT
- Puts the panel on the receiver shown; DISCONNECT leaves it.
- FAVOURITE
- Stars or unstars the receiver shown.
- NEXT FREE
- Jumps to the first receiver with free places.
- DISPLAY
- Name, place, antenna, coverage, listeners, distance, SNR and audio of the receiver.
- POWER
- Switches the module on and off; the radio stays where it is.
How to try it
In Etere.AI press RACK, mount the module and press its power key: its sheet opens with TRY 10 MINUTES. If you like it, buy it from there.
