Common questions
Two devices don't find each other.
Both must be on the same Wi-Fi network or have Bluetooth on, with Talky open on the same channel. On iPhone and iPad check Settings, Privacy and Security, Local Network: Talky must be allowed. On a private channel, both must type the same password.
Does it work between iPhone, iPad and Mac?
Yes. Talky on iPhone, iPad and Mac talk to each other on the same network, on the public channel and on private channels.
Nobody hears me.
Check that the microphone is allowed in Settings, Talky,, and hold the talk button for the whole sentence.
I hear nothing on HF or CB.
Those bands use public receivers run by volunteers: they accept a few listeners at a time and can go offline. Talky moves to another receiver; you can also change channel or band. Quiet hours are normal, the airwaves are real.
What does Talky Pro include?
No ads, private channels, recordings, history, themes, sleep timer, equalizer, the full live radio features and every device with the same Apple Account. After buying, the page Your Talky Pro in Settings lists everything.
How do I restore a purchase?
In Talky, Settings, Restore purchases, with the same Apple Account you used to buy. It works on iPhone, iPad and Mac.
How do I cancel the subscription?
From your Apple Account: Settings, your name, Subscriptions, Talky. Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal; Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid.
Where are my recordings?
In Talky, in the recordings list. They are stored only on your device, up to the latest 100.
