SOS GPS Rescue is a support tool and does not replace the emergency services. If you are in immediate danger, call your local emergency number (112 in the EU, 911 in the US).

Quick answers
- The SOS button does nothing? Hold it for a full three seconds. A countdown ring appears; releasing early cancels the request on purpose.
- Nothing is sent to my contacts. iOS never lets an app send a message on your behalf without confirmation: the app prepares the SMS and opens Messages, where you tap send. Add at least one trusted contact first.
- No position in the message? The app needs location permission: Settings → SOS Rescue → Location → "Always", so the position is available also when the screen is off.
- Fall or crash detection never triggers. Both need the Motion & Fitness permission and the corresponding feature enabled in the app settings. Sensitivity is adjustable — the highest setting reacts to lighter impacts.
- I forgot my duress PIN. For safety it cannot be recovered from outside the app. Reinstalling clears all local settings, including PINs and trusted contacts.
- Mesh Radar finds nobody. It works over the local network between devices running the app nearby: allow the Local Network permission on every device, and keep Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on.
- Removing ads. Watch the rewarded ad to get 24 hours without banners. Ads never appear during an active emergency.

Risposte rapide
- Il pulsante SOS non fa nulla? Tienilo premuto per tre secondi pieni. Compare l'anello del countdown; rilasciarlo prima annulla la richiesta, ed è voluto.
- Ai miei contatti non arriva niente. iOS non permette a un'app di inviare messaggi al posto tuo senza conferma: l'app prepara l'SMS e apre Messaggi, dove tocchi invia. Aggiungi prima almeno un contatto di fiducia.
- Nel messaggio manca la posizione? Serve il permesso di posizione: Impostazioni → SOS Rescue → Posizione → "Sempre", così la posizione è disponibile anche a schermo spento.
- Il rilevamento cadute o incidenti non scatta mai. Entrambi richiedono il permesso Movimento e fitness e la funzione attiva nelle impostazioni dell'app. La sensibilità è regolabile: al massimo reagisce anche a impatti leggeri.
- Ho dimenticato il PIN di coercizione. Per sicurezza non è recuperabile dall'esterno dell'app. Reinstallando si azzerano tutte le impostazioni locali, PIN e contatti compresi.
- Il Radar Mesh non trova nessuno. Funziona sulla rete locale tra dispositivi vicini che usano l'app: consenti il permesso Rete locale su ogni dispositivo e tieni attivi Wi-Fi e Bluetooth.
- Togliere la pubblicità. Guarda l'annuncio con premio per ottenere 24 ore senza banner. Durante un'emergenza attiva gli annunci non compaiono mai.
