SOS GPS Rescue has no account and no sign-up. There is no server of ours: your position, your trusted contacts and your emergency details are stored on your iPhone and are used only to compose the message that you send. The only third party that receives data is Google AdMob, for advertising, and only with your consent.
iOS does not allow an app to send messages or place calls on your behalf without confirmation. The app prepares the SMS or the call with your position and details, and hands it to the system Messages or Phone app, where you confirm. Your data therefore travels only through your own mobile operator, to the recipients you chose.
The app shows advertising through Google AdMob. Before any ad request, a consent form (Google UMP) asks how your data may be used, and on iOS the App Tracking Transparency prompt asks whether you allow tracking. If you refuse, ads are still shown but are not personalised. AdMob may process device identifiers, coarse location derived from the IP address and usage data as described in the Google privacy policy. You can reopen the consent options at any time from the app settings. Ads are never shown during an active emergency.
If you enable the risk-zone map and configure a dataset URL, the app downloads that file over HTTPS and caches it on the device. No information about you is sent in the request.
All data stays on your device for as long as the app is installed. Deleting the app removes everything, including trusted contacts, PINs and the breadcrumb history. There is nothing for us to delete on our side, because we hold nothing.
The app is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect data from them.

iOS non consente a un'app di inviare messaggi o effettuare chiamate al posto tuo senza conferma. L'app prepara l'SMS o la chiamata con posizione e dati, e la passa all'app Messaggi o Telefono di sistema, dove confermi tu. I tuoi dati viaggiano quindi solo attraverso il tuo operatore, verso i destinatari che hai scelto.
L'app mostra pubblicità tramite Google AdMob. Prima di qualsiasi richiesta di annunci, un modulo di consenso (Google UMP) chiede come possono essere usati i tuoi dati e, su iOS, il messaggio App Tracking Transparency chiede se autorizzi il tracciamento. Se rifiuti, gli annunci vengono comunque mostrati ma non personalizzati. AdMob può trattare identificatori del dispositivo, posizione approssimativa derivata dall'indirizzo IP e dati di utilizzo come descritto nell'informativa privacy di Google. Puoi riaprire le opzioni di consenso in qualsiasi momento dalle impostazioni dell'app. Durante un'emergenza attiva gli annunci non vengono mai mostrati.
Se attivi la mappa delle zone di rischio e configuri l'URL di un dataset, l'app scarica quel file via HTTPS e lo memorizza sul dispositivo. Nella richiesta non viene inviata alcuna informazione su di te.
Tutti i dati restano sul dispositivo finché l'app è installata. Eliminando l'app si rimuove tutto, inclusi contatti di fiducia, PIN e cronologia del percorso. Da parte nostra non c'è nulla da cancellare, perché non conserviamo nulla.
L'app non è destinata ai minori e non raccoglie consapevolmente dati che li riguardano.
Poiché non deteniamo tuoi dati personali, le richieste di accesso, rettifica o cancellazione previste dal GDPR si soddisfano direttamente sul tuo dispositivo. Per qualsiasi domanda scrivi a andreapiani.dev@gmail.com.
